Student Ministry

Grades 7-12

In the FBC Student Ministry, we strive to live like Jesus ... learning, laughing, growing, praising, loving, serving, going and doing.
Our goal is to see students become rooted in Christ and grow to be influential for His Kingdom.

Our messages are meant to help students engage and understand how the Bible actually applies to our lives. Small groups (Sunday School) are the opportunity to build authentic and lasting friendships.

We have lots of fun with special events, retreats, summer youth camp, mission trips, volunteering in the community, and more.

Student Pastor - Travis Roper,

MARCH 26-28 - DNOW 2021

Students will gather together over the weekend for times of fun, fellowship, competition, worship, and service. This year's theme is "Make It Matter." We hope to encourage our young men and women to make a real impact in the world around them as the Lord works through them!

As a precaution this year, students will not be staying overnight in host homes, but simply arrive at the church at designated times and return home with their families afterward.

In lieu of host homes, we're asking for volunteers to help prepare meals during the event. A total of three meals will need to be prepared. Please contact Pastor Travis at if you can help with meal prep on Saturday, March 27th.

We're excited to join with the Texas State BSM for worship, and to have Pastor Dylan Allegrezza from Skyline Baptist Church in Killeen, TX as our special speaker.

The cost is $20 per student, which covers their t-shirt, interactive student book, and follow-up devotional journal.

Friday, March 26: 6:00-10:00 PM
Saturday, March 27: 9:00 AM - 10:00 PM
Sunday, March 28: 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM

We're excited for our FBCNB students to join with other students from all over Texas at Centrifuge Camp 2021! Students will enjoy worship celebrations, track rallies, team-building events, Bible study classes, and more! The 2021 Theme is DWELL and will focus on Psalm 46 (view Bible Study Overview). The relationship between God and man was broken by our sin but has been restored through Christ. Because of this, we can draw near to God, enjoy fellowship and relationship with Him, and experience His ultimate peace and rest. In our culture, we have so many things grabbing our attention such as our phones, devices, social media, and social expectations. Along with the pressures of school and other activities, we often find ourselves overwhelmed, drained, and feeling empty.

Join us for Centrifuge Camp 2021 as we discover how to dwell with God, rest in His presence, push past distractions, and focus on His peace. Spending time with the Lord changes everything!

Register below with $60 deposit per student by March 7, 2021. Registration includes FBCNB Medical Release and Photo Permissions. An additional release form for FUGE will be sent to all registrants around the first of February.
