MARCH 20 - VIRTUAL MISSON TRIP
Saturday, March 20
10:00 AM - 2:30 PM
Are you ready to travel again? Last fall we took a virtual mission trip to visit with friends from around the world. The "trip" went so well that we're planning another one! This time we'll visit (over Zoom) with our partners Andrew and Judy Jones (Germany), Steve and Dianne Williamson (Life in Messiah), James and Kristi George (East-West Ministries), and John and Amanda Denby (church planter in Johnson City, TX). We want you to hear what God is doing, so make plans now to join us. We'll gather virtually to hear what God is doing, encourage our friends, and spend time in prayer with them as they show us around their corner of the world.
Schedule coming soon!

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

Operation Christmas Child is one of many projects of Samartan's Purse, an international relief organization, whose mission is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ. Samaritan's Purse ships these simple gifts outside the United States to children affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease; and to children living on Native American reservations in the U.S.

Collection has ended for 2020, but it's never too early to be scoping out sales for next year's collection! Here are some tips for making the best of seasonal savings year-round.

I LOVE NB

Jesus says that the world will know us by our love (John 13:35). Our hearbeat should be for others. FBCNB should be known for our love. To help communicate this drive, we are excited to dub our local missions ministry "I Love NB." We "Love NB" because God first loved us, and we are excited to lead people to Jesus. What better way to lead people to Jesus than by serving them with love? We desire to be "salt and light" to our neighbors, coworkers, friends, and family. We "Love NB" by providing school supplies, praying for First Responders, delivering Thanksgiving baskets, and witnessing to our neighbors. Please join us as we commit to "Love NB."

Family Promise

Family Promise helps homeless families regain independence by providing transportation, job training, life skills classes, a day center, and more while they work to get back on their feet. FBCNB and other local churches take turns hosting the families for one week four times a year, providing meals, fellowship, and a place to sleep.
