All In. For God. For Others.

You may have noticed that things are beginning to look a little different at First Baptist Church. Earlier this summer, Pastor Brad shared how we were striving as a congregation to be All In for God and others. In this season, we have revisited our purpose, mission, vision and values as a church. More than just words, our leadership is committed to moving forward with diligent action. As we seek to glorify God and serve as a light in our community, we also revisited our current visual identity, including our logo.

While our former logo represented us well for a season, we wanted to make some updates to better reflect our church family's past, present, and future. You'll notice that the cross remains central in all we do. We also wanted a visual that expressed an invitation to others to find hope in Jesus and a place of growth and fellowship within our church community. If you missed Pastor Brad's May 23 sermon, we invite you to go back and hear more about the heart behind this update.

We will be continuing to phase in this new visual identity in the months ahead. You'll continue to see it on fun swag items, social media, and later this fall, our new website. When you see it or wear it, we hope it will remind you of Christ's love for you and your everyday opportunity to share that with gift with others.

It all starts with our initial connection to God. We may be at different stages, but we all continue to grow in our faith, and God has equipped each of us for a purpose.

What's next for you?
  • Prioritize a regular connection with God via prayer and Bible study.
  • Make space to grow in relationships with others.
  • Pray weekly for our church and its leaders.
  • Reflect and take notes as you consider how you can grow in your faith and help others. How can you be All In?
  • Share your faith story with others.

Jesus said in Matthew 5:14-16: "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven."
