Youth Choir
Youth Choir
Rehearsing every Sunday afternoon from 4:30 to 5:30, the Youth Choir of First Baptist has represented the Lord and our church across America. They have sung in our nation's capital, the streets of New Orleans, on a Navajo Indian Reservation, and in the Maple forests of Vermont. Under the direction of Wally Black, a nationally published playwright, composer, and arranger, the Youth Choir sings fun, contemporary music.
Each December, the choir presents a two-night Dinner Theatre in an American Musical Theatre format. During the summer, the Youth Choir Mission Trip puts our youth in places where they learn leadership and receive training in evangelism that they will use for the rest of their lives.
Youth Choir is a non-auditioned group open to students 7th-12th grades. Eligibility for the mission trip is determined by choir attendance and participation.
