Celebrate Christ's resurrection with us Sunday, April 16. We will have a 9:00 and 11:00 service. To accomodate the two worship services, we will not be having Small Group Bible Study that morning. Preschool childcare will be available for ages four-and-under for both services.
We have several parking options at First Baptist. Our large main parking lot is accessible from Lee St and Guenther Ave.
The parking area nearest the Sanctuary is reserved for visitors and those with handicaps.
We have two parking annexes across Guenther Ave from the church, and more parking is available along the streets and in the Children's Museum parking lot accessed from Santa Clara Ave.
If you need to drop a passenger off nearer the building before finding a parking space, the best place is at the awning nearest the Sanctuary entrance in the large parking lot (the left end of the campus when looking at the building from the parking lot).

Worship Service - 10:45-12:00
The 10:45 worship service is located in the Sanctuary, with overflow seating available in Rushing Hall. Worship services at First Baptist are planned to be authentic in content, driven by truth revealed through Scripture, and focused on bringing people into a face-to-face encounter with the Living God. Music is led by a combination of choir and praise band with a mixture of traditional and contemporary hymns. We encourage you to come, discover, and grow as we worship together.
The nursery is available for children birth-4 years.* Children 5 and up are invited to participate in the worship service with their families. Children's Activity Bags are available in the foyer outside the Sanctuary. Please return bags after the service.
*Preschoolers who were checked in for Small Group Bible Study do not need to be rechecked in during the Worship Service.
Children's Church, What's In the Bible?, is available for Kinder-4th Grade in E 201, with the exception of the 4th Sunday of each month, where children 4-and-older attend the worship service with their families. We also have tvs available in the foyer, Rushing Hall, and a smaller private room so that you can still participate in the service if you need to step out momentarily.
What Do I Wear?
You are welcome to wear appropriate clothing you feel comfortable in. You'll see a variety of styles from clean informal to Sunday finest, particularly as we celebrate Christmas and Resurrection Sunday.
What Will the Music Be Like?
What a joy and privelege it is to lift up praises to our Lord together! Worship Pastor James Passman leads our praise team, choir, and congregation together in a worshipful blend of traditional and contemporary music. Every Friday, we post our Sunday bulletin to the Latest News section of our homepage. The inside of the bulletin includes the songs we will sing Sunday.
TONIGHT, WEDNESDAY 3/29
DUE TO BUS ACCIDENT
At approximately 2 pm this afternoon, a group of our senior adults were returning home from a 3-day retreat at Alto Frio Baptist Encampment when their vehicle was involved in a head-on collision.
We have heard that there have been fatalities, but we have not received any official details from the local authorities.
We are ministering to family members to help them deal with this tragedy. Counselors will be on hand at the church tomorrow.
If you're a Christian, you can pray for those who lost their loved ones and for the church family.
