Sanctuary Choir
Sanctuary Choir
Rehearsing each Wednesday evening from 7:15 to 8:15, the Sanctuary Choir leads in worship weekly at the 10:45 am service. Under the direction of Wally Black, a nationally published playwright, composer and arranger, the choir performs a wide variety of music of various genres and styles.
The choir also presents two major programs a year, typically at Christmas and Easter, or another non-seasonal work. These are usually done with a live orchestra. Historically, the choir has also presented major pageants and musical theatre productions.
The Sanctuary Choir is a non-auditioned group open to all who want to come and sing. A love for the Lord and a love for music are the only two preconditions for membership.
