Orchestra
Instrumental music at First Baptist takes many forms.  The sanctuary band that plays on a weekly basis is augmented into a full orchestra for major productions and special events.  If you have an interest in playing, make yourself known to Wally Black, minister of music.  Our preference is to use our own church members, but we also hire students from surrounding high schools and colleges to augment our existing group.  A number of area band directors are members of First Baptist, as are college students who often assist in forming full orchestras as the need arises.
