Cross Street Ministries is the name of our youth group at First Baptist Church.
Our goal is to pursue deep friendship as we grow up in Christ together. This means our adventures and activities are fun, fresh, and purposeful. Here are some of the events that push us towards Christ:
WEEKLY...
-Sunday School: every Sunday, 9:15AM
-Tuesday: Youth Guys Accountability: every Tuesday, starts at 7:00pm in the parlor, led by Bobby Delong.
During the school year, Girls Breakfast: every Tuesday, 6:30AM - 7:30AM - Join us for breakfast, fellowship, and a Bible study led by one of our youth girls.
-Wednesday Roll Call: our mid-week together-time for worship through eating, hanging out, singing, and exploring the scriptures.
EVERY SO OFTEN...
-Youth Retreats, Scavenger Hunts and Lock-Ins: playing crazy games, staying up too late, eating together, and through it all, talking about how God wants us to live.
-Deep Week/Disciple Now: a week of in-depth focus on a selected portion of scripture, and what God is saying to us through it, culminating in a crazy weekend spent in church members' homes, where mostly college-age leaders walk with us through the deep waters of God's Word.
-Youth Camp: a crazy-awesome week of sunburn, camp food, and random games, but saturated with prayer, scripture, and great times of sharing with each other what God is doing in us.
Cross Street Ministries is 7th-12th Grade, and is served by Ricky Gobert. We are led by Christ.
