Dear Parents,

     Welcome to WEE Care @ First!  The purpose of WEE Care @ First!

is to support the home and extend the ministry of First Baptist Church into

our community by providing biblically based, age appropriate education for

preschoolers in a loving and safe environment which allow for their spiritual,

mental physical and social development.

     It is our desire to come alongside you as parents in providing your child

with many great experiences through fun and learning.  Our curriculum is

bibically based, and our center times are an extension of the Bible story.

     We are looking forward to another great school year and will pray that

your family will join us as we endeavor to teach your children so that they,

as Jesus did, may grow in wisdom and stature and in favor with God and man.

WEE Care @ First! uses the WEE Learn curriculum produced by Lifeway

Christian Resources. Because children learn best through activities which

stimulate all their senses, our curriculum is learning center based. Each weekly

unit is designed around a Bible story. The learning activities are based on that

Bible lesson. Our learning centers include nature, art, building and construction,

home life, music, and library. 

• Student-to-teacher ratios are below state standards in order to ensure the highest quality environment for the children in our care.
• Pre K 4 and 5 will be taught by a certified early childhood teacher to prepare your preschooler for Kindergarten.
• We utilize activites to build fine and gross motor skills.
• Our classrooms are invited to children with bright, clean, and age appropriate equipment.
• We offer Stretch-N-Grow, a "Fabulously Fun Fitness program for Kids."
• We have weekly chapel led by our children's pastor.

WEE Care @ First is available for ages 3 months through Pre K 5.
