Behind the Scenes
First Baptist has state of the art sound and lighting for services and productions.  Volunteers faithfully man sound boards, light boards, and production booth each week to ensure people are effectively seen and heard.  All of these positions are overseen by the Minister of Music.  If you have an interest in these areas, we encourage you to contact Wally Black.  Although it is not insurmountable, there is a learning curve inherent with all computer-based control and projection equipment and boards.  Volunteers need to possess basic computer skills.

There is also the need for volunteers to help design, build, and paint sets for major musicals.  If you're handy with tools, a fabric steamer, paint roller, etc., we'd love to have your help as we pursue excellence in serving the Lord creatively, technically, and whole-heartedly!
